How to get a book onto your e-reader

Kindle

  1. On a computer, go to amazon.com/sendtokindle and sign in.
  2. Drag the EPUB file onto the page and click Send.
  3. Turn on your Kindle's Wi-Fi. The book shows up in your library within a few minutes.

On a phone, open the downloaded file, tap Share, and choose the Kindle app. Amazon converts the EPUB for you.

Kobo

  1. Plug your Kobo into your computer with its USB cable and tap Connect on the Kobo's screen.
  2. The Kobo shows up like a thumb drive. Drag the EPUB file onto it.
  3. Eject the Kobo and unplug it. The book appears on your home screen.

iPhone or iPad

Open the downloaded EPUB, tap Share, and choose Books.

Android phone or tablet

Open the downloaded EPUB and choose Google Play Books, or any e-book app you already use.

Nook, PocketBook, Boox, and other e-readers

Most connect to a computer by USB and show up like a thumb drive. Drag the EPUB file onto the device, eject it, and the book will be in your library.

The PDF is best for reading on a computer or printing. On a small e-reader screen, the EPUB is much easier to read.
